Project 6 Volunteering Opportunities
CFA and SES Volunteers keep our communities safe and we all need to consider getting involved, if not as first responders - then perhaps as community support.
With two Rotarians on the HCA Committee - it may not come as a surprise that we are exploring ways to create a Rotary group on the mountain.
The Rotary Club of Lilydale has agreed to support in an attempt to get a Rotary Satelite group established.
Mark at the Mount Dandenong Hotel has offered free space and support to help Rotary.
Also with a Country Women's Association member on the HCA Committee - the ladies of the HCA team have been exploring options and running talks on Thursday afternoons in Kawarra Garden, welcoming CWA officials to join us and for local ladies to consider coming together to create a CWA up here.
HCA are looking for a volunteer to be our Volunteer Co-ordinator - so let us know if you would like to help in this way!
We will shortly have a list of community volunteering opportunities - but we are always happy to add other suggestions.
